Toàn Á donated gifts to people in the flood-affected areas of Quang Binh.

The program "Heading towards the Central Region" organized by Toan A has received a lot of support not only from within the company but also from outside. On October 26, 2020, Toan A carried out a volunteer trip bringing gifts and goodwill from people in Hanoi to Quang Binh. According to initial contacts with the local authorities, the team learned that 4 communes: Xuan Thuy, Phong Thuy, Loc Thuy, An Thuy - Lệ Thủy district - were the most affected communes, with many areas flooded during the recent heavy rains. 400 gift packages were delivered to the residents of these communes. These are households facing difficulties, damages, and the most affected by the floods. Each gift package given to a family includes: warm blankets, rice, purified drinking water, square glutinous rice cake, sesame salt, cooking oil, soup powder, seasoning, burnt rice...

In addition, according to forecasts, the Central Region will continue to be affected by storms, which may cause power outages and affect the supply of clean drinking water. To address this issue, Toan A has donated a non-electric flood water filter to each commune, hoping to provide continuous and safe supply of clean water to the people.

The team also visited, gifted, and encouraged teachers and students at 15 schools in Lệ Thủy district. These include: 5 kindergartens, 6 primary schools, 3 lower secondary schools, 1 upper secondary school. The team gifted each school a RO drinking water filter. Additionally, each of the 5 primary schools received 400 notebooks, 200 pencils, 50 water-based pens, and each of the 4 secondary schools received 500 notebooks, 1000 ballpoint pens.

Representatives from the communes and schools also expressed their sincere gratitude to Toan A and the philanthropists who visited, helped, and shared with the local residents, teachers, and students. An Ngoc Cuong, the General Director of Toan A, stated: "Through the media, Toan A and all philanthropists deeply understand and sympathize with the difficulties that the people in Quang Binh are facing. We all hope that these small gifts will alleviate some of the burdens that the people have to bear and wish for the residents to stabilize their lives soon."
